OUR EMBLEM

There are three important features in our emblem.
Wheel : It symbolizes the movement and momentum of individual life in particular and human life in general.
Pen : On one hand, it symbolizes ‘ Knowledge and Wisdom’ searching and researching on varied aspects of the life. On the other hand, the pen serves as a stopper pin without which the wheel of the vehicle loses its control and direction.
Cross : It points towards the sacrifice that Jesus taught by his life and death on the cross. The two beams of the cross: one vertical and the other horizontal invite us to love God and humanity by our own life. It is Christ who said. "There is no greater love that a man can have than to lay down his own life for his friends." - Holy Bible (John 15:13). It is the same love. God's love that Tagore longed to carry in his being. We read in his Gitanjali. "Let me carry thy love in my life, as a harp does its music and give it back at last with my life".

"KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM - OUR SCHOOL MOTTO"

Knowledge and Wisdom - Our school motto is taken from the Book of Proverbs Chapters (1-9) found in the Holy Bible. Proverb 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverb 3:13 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.Proverb 4:6-7 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.Proverb 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.Knowledge: The word Knowledge in the Bible denotes an understanding, recognition or an acknowledgment. To "know" something is to perceive it or to be aware of it. The Bible is clear that the knowledge of God is the most valuable knowledge a human being can possess. Wisdom : According to Bible, wisdom is the ability to use Knowledge to think and act in such a way that common sense prevails and choices are beneficial and productive.

Knowledge and Wisdom:

Purpose of Knowledge and Wisdom:The chief end of knowledge andwisdom is to serve God and humanity. They are both recurring themes in the Bible and are related but not synonymous. Knowledge is what is gathered over time through various studies. Wisdom or sapience is the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight. Knowledge memorizes the rules and regulations but wisdom obeys them. Knowledge learns of God; wisdom loves Him. Wisdom is a gift from God. Knowledge can exist without wisdom, but wisdom cannot exist without knowledge. One can be knowledgeable without being wise. Knowledge is information and wisdom is transformation. Knowledge is the clarity of facts whereas wisdom is the practical ability to make good decisions in the life. The source of Knowledge is learning and education while wisdom is mostly gathered from day to day experience. The school aims to equip the child with both timely knowledge and timeless wisdom.

Purpose of Knowledge and Wisdom:The chief end of knowledge and wisdom is to serve God and humanity.
